Commentary from a pro-reason, pro-egoism, pro-capitalism perspective
Thursday, October 23, 2008
Ideas cannot be fought except by
means of better ideas. The battle
consists not of opposing, but of
exposing; not of denouncing
but of disproving; not of evading,
but of boldly proclaiming a full,
consistent and radical alternative.

Wow, that is wonderful. Do you have some sort of humidor (;-) that creates such ideal conditions? Does "LC Purple Cascade 'Fragrance Princess" produce such a fragrance? How much space do you devote to orchids? I just have a desk in a window with six; there is no humidity control, that I can manage, which is hell for them during the winter central heating period up here in Ontario's cold and dry weather.
Hi Richard,
I'm fortunate enough to live in SoCal so, providing I water them 2/week, humidity is not much of a problem. I have about 100 plants, a quarter of them outside, the rest scattered through the house.
I haven't smelled any princesses lately, so not sure how accurate the name is, but the flowers do have a nice, subdued fragrance ;-)
Drat, did I post such a grammatically awful comment? Sorry :-(
