Watchmen
To anyone out there who's debating seeing the movie: DON'T! It's among the three worst movies I've ever seen. (After I get over the trauma of watching it last night, I might decide that it's the absolute worst movie I've ever seen.)

Why?
For anyone who has studied Leonard Peikoff's Ominous Parallels, I have a question about the movie:
What, if anything, do the sense of life and theme of the movie have in common with the culture in which the Weimar Republic was born?
I ask this based on brief comments reviewing the movie I have seen elsewhere. Perhaps those reviews were wrong.
Study Groups for Objectivists has been conducting a six week study group examining some of the chapters of OP. The history of that time is very much on my mind.
